From where we started, to our various locations, the food we serve and the experiences we offer. At Nikos, it all matters to us. We incorporate everything Greek and love it! The classic recipes, the culture, traditions – it’s all part of us, who we are, and what we love to share with South Africa.
What do we value?
Parents Peter and Nikki both grew up with strong family roots in Greece, and with a passion for Greek food and heritage they opened a small restaurant in 2017, and named it Nikos, after their son Nicholas. It was a space where their hospitality could thrive and they could share their Greek culture with their community. Full of their childhood meals and secret family recipes handed down from generation to generation, developing the Nikos brand has been a proud journey, which now sees eight bespoke restaurants operating across South Africa.

In 2019, Nikos Coalgrill Greek joined the Spur Corporation brand portfolio, which provides ongoing operational and business support to all their franchisees.
